"The Genius of Miles Davis....The Columbia Years Fine Art Print Box Set" is a unique and celebratory event chronicling one of the 20th century's most profoundly influential musicians. These fine art prints
have been meticulously hand selected and represent a unique piece of musical history.
Miles Davis was at the forefront of virtually every major development in jazz from World War II through the 1990s. Among his accomplishments during a phenomenally productive period on
Columbia Records, Miles pioneered a post-bebop modal jazz with his 1959
masterpiece, "Kind of Blue" (still one of the most commercially successful jazz albums of all time) and launched an ongoing musical revolution with a fusion of jazz, rock, funk, electronic and ambient elements on albums including "In A Silent Way" (1969),
"Bitches Brew" (1970), and "On The Corner" (1972).
