Sly Stone with Keyboard Reflection in Sunglasses, 1967 - Fine Art Print
Description:
In late 1966, brothers Sly Stone and Freddie Stone merged their respective San Francisco-based bands (Sly & the Stoners and Freddie & the Stone Souls) into Sly & the Family Stone, an unstoppable musical powerhouse combining pop, rock, psychedelia, R&B, funk and soul music. By July 1967, when this photo was taken, the Summer of Love was in full flower and Sly Stone could see the future of pop music laid out in the ebony and ivory keys reflected in his mod sunglasses.
