Johnny Cash Playing at a Party, 1959 - Fine Art Print
Description:
While at Sun Records, Johnny Cash developed a reputation as a ferociously prolific artist, the first on the label to record and release a long-playing album. His initial Columbia output was no less impressive, containing highly charged components of rock 'n' roll, rockabilly, country, pop, gospel, folk and blues. Don Hunstein's shot of Johnny, zeroing in on an E minor chord during a live performance for the press during a party in February 1959, captures the paradoxical combination of fiery energy and cool control that pulsates through Cash's music.
