Eartha Kitt, 'Down to Eartha,' NYC, 1955 - Fine Art Print
Description:
Orson Welles, who'd given her her first starring role, as Helen of Troy, in his 1950 production of "Dr. Faustus," called Eartha Kitt the "most exciting woman in the world." And, if the smoldering crimson heat & animal magnetism in this 1955 color image is any indication, Orson's assessment may've been an understatement. TV's future Catwoman puts the Kitt in sex kitten in this vintage portrait from the photo sessions for her "Down To Eartha" album.
